Routa Light by Laurent Hongisto

"The Routa Light is an atmospheric mood light that gains its inspiration from the five stringed harp instrument. Designed by Finish product designer Laurent Hongisto. This light would be very nice for restaurants or just above your own kitchen table, to add a bit more atmosphere to your room."

Detachable light post

The lights can be twisted off and placed anywhere you might need more light, and once they go out, you can twist them back on to the post for a full recharge. The coolest part? The bulbs are made out of silicon, and can be squeezed to turn them off or on or twisted to make the light more dim or brighter. Awesome concept from designer Ian Bach. I never knew light could be so much fun.

Modular Air Purifier

"Air purifiers have experienced a massive revival in the last 5 years but one thing they all have in common is the inability to dynamically scale to different size spaces. The Daan (Korean for column) is a small disk sized unit powerful enough to purify a small room. You stack more units together to clean a bigger area. You can even detach one unit and take it for travel.

Made from fabric and brushed aluminum meant to blend in harmoneously with most decors, it even had mood lighting functions. I’m sold. Where do I get one?

Designer: Joseph Kim"
